Search, RSS, Sitemap, and Revalidation

Discovery and freshness

Notion-As-Blog includes search, RSS, sitemap, robots.txt, and structured metadata so readers and crawlers can discover content reliably.

The search API reads public posts and returns matching results from the same source of truth as the feed.

  • Short queries are ignored to avoid noise.
  • Very long queries are rejected to protect the endpoint.
  • Result limits are configured in brand.search.

RSS and sitemap

/feed.xml exposes public posts for feed readers. /sitemap.xml exposes canonical URLs for search engines.

Revalidation

bash
curl -X POST https://your-domain.com/api/revalidate \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN_FOR_REVALIDATE"
  • Use revalidation for Notion content changes.
  • Redeploy after changing environment variables or code.
